Women’s Volleyball: Starks signs with American International College in Massachusetts

Long Beach City College sophomore Seferina Starks has signed a national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts

Starks recently closed out her sophomore season with the Vikings this fall. The Lancaster High School graduate was named second-team All-South Coast Conference at outside hitter for the second consecutive season.

Starks averaged 2.4 kills and 3.3 digs per game for the Vikings in 2010.

She is set to attend American International this spring. AIC competes at the NCAA Division II level and is a member of the Northeast-10 Conference. Starks plans to major in communications with an emphasis in non-profit marketing and minor in psychology.
