      <description>Long Beach City College freshman Mark Denison was named the South Coast Conference Co-Swimmer of the Year after an amazing performance at the SCC Championship finals over the weekend. Denison won three events and was a member of three first-place relay teams to help lead the Vikings to 529 team points and a second-place overall finish.</description>

      <description>The Long Beach City College Men&#x2019;s Swimming &amp; Diving team earned a pair of South Coast Conference dual-meet wins on Friday at Cerritos College to move to 3-0 on the season. LBCC took first place in 11 of 15 events at the three-way meet on its way to a 210-34 win over Los Angeles Trade-Tech and a 166-108 victory against host Cerritos.</description>
