The Long Beach City College men's volleyball team picked up a straight-set win over LA Pierce College, defeating the Brahmas 3-0 on Friday night at the Hall of Champions.
Long Beach controlled the match throughout, taking the first set 25-21 before pulling away in the second, 25-18. The Vikings closed it out in the third set, 25-19, to secure the sweep.
The Vikings were led by Noah Pannek, who finished with 11 kills on an efficient night and added five blocks at the net. Alden Jacobs followed with nine kills, while Jerami Jeffery contributed six kills and three blocks.
At setter, Ryder Tuaolo recorded 27 assists and helped keep the offense steady across all three sets. Defensively, Sergio Garcia led the team with 15 digs, anchoring the back row.
Long Beach also made its presence felt at the net, totaling 11 team blocks in the win.
The Vikings will return to action on March 4 on the road at Antelope Valley College, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
